HTTPS in 3.0.0.9

Post by cam »

Hey guys, noticed in the update it lists https for web interface by default. Before I update, I wanted to ask does it redirect http to https? because I only have a single static at home with 80 for EFA and 443 for OWA. Also, will it create quarantine release links as https? If so how can I make changes for both to http again? Thanks and look forward to update!

Recently upgraded to 3.0.1.0, and am seeing no affect when disabling the redirect from 80 to 443 via Option 11 in the console menu.
Is there any other approach to disable the HTTPS redirect that I can try?

Code: Select all

Apache Settings

By default, EFA uses port 443
You can enable port 443 for secure access.

[EFA][ Enable port 443? (Y/n): n
iptables: Saving firewall rules to /etc/sysconfig/iptables: OK

Port 443 [Enabled][

If you have your own pki certificate, please copy the certificate to:
/etc/pki/tls/certs/localhost.crt

and copy the private key to:
/etc/pki/tls/private/localhost.key

Port 80 --> 443 Redirect
You can choose to redirect all port 80 traffic to port 443

[EFA][ Redirect port 80 to port 443? (Y/n): n

Port 80 to 443 redirection [Enabled][
Reloading httpd:
Thanks
