Hello,
I have not installed the product or played with it yet. I have a few questions about spam filtering that I am sure you can easily answer. Thank you for helping make a decision on a spam filter.
1. Is the user notified when an email is blocked as spam at the device?
2. Can users release valid emails that were marked as spam or does that need to be done by an admin?
3. Can you set a rule that domains like yahoo, gmail, etc are checked for spam, but private domains are not?
4. Is it compatible with Exchange 2016?
5. Is there some sort of plug in for Outlook?
Functional Question
Re: Functional Question
(Others, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
1/ if you want, it's configurable.
2/ yes, and yes. Your choice
3/ yes, maybe. You can whitelist domains so they avoid the spam check. That's not the same as saying, "let everything through, except gmail, yahoo..., which must be checked.
4/ yes. EFA sits in front of exchange and delivers/accepts mail for the exchange server which it then sends/delivers.
5/ no. No plugin is necessary.
