Hi
When using multiple virus scanner whith mailscanner I see it's using ALL the configured scanner also when the first one find a virus.
Is it possible to stop scan for virures after the first scan's block ?
Thx
Multiple Virus Scanner
Re: Multiple Virus Scanner
I believe that is a function of MailScanner. It looks like they are reorganizing their site, so I cannot search for the specifics.
Are you having performance problems? Or is it just an annoyance you want to fix?

Yes i know it's a mailscanner specific function.
I think it's useless to scan a file TWICE if the first one find a virus and thus put the file in quarantine (or block it).
I've tried to find something on the net but not sure i've specified the correct search words (my english is poorly).
Thx

Re: Multiple Virus Scanner
There are some things in MailScanner I find silly...this is one of them.
Let's fix it!
I am engaged in the MailScanner community. Maybe I could do a pull request to fix the problem?
So, if I understand correctly, if the first scanner detects a virus, mailscanner goes ahead and scans again with the second scanner?
