No Programs Allowed: MIME type saved as "application/x-wine-extension-ini"

Hi,
I have one customer that sends an email in html/plain text format from MS-Exchange/O365. The email has two images embedded which are actually our own signature images in reply blocks but essentially it is a basic email.
When received Mailscanner creates a folder for the message with two files, the "message" file and a msg-####.text file. If I examine the .txt file it is just plain text information but the Mime type for the file has been set as "application/x-wine-extension-ini" which the system blocks because it thinks it is a Program file.
The same email was cc'd to another mailsystem and contained no attachments.
Anybody have any idea why this is happening?
Thanks
