Mail from Google invalid domain

Post by jotaerre »

Hi,

I'm getting this error from EFA when sending email from Gmail.
Reject: RCPT from mail-ed1-f49.google.com[209.85.208.49]: 450 4.1.2 <xpto@domain.real>: Recipient address rejected: Domain not found;

But, if I send an email from a diferent address, it enters fine.

New instalation, just added the transport configuration and redefined local networks.

If you're getting that error from Google, then either the domain really isn't real, or it was just created a few minutes ago and the Google DNS servers cannot resolve it yet.

Are you sure the domain is correct? Copy and paste the domain from the message and check it in a text editor - make sure there is nothing funny, like a unicode character, as part of the domain name.

Sorry, I didn't explained myself correctly.
I'm changing from EFA 3 to EFA4.
EFA4 is updated to yesterday.
But, not migrating, just changing the server.
When i receive the mail from EFA3, everything is OK.
When i receive the mail from EFA4, and only from Gmail, I get that error.
If I forward or send an email to an diferent email address that has a rule to send any mail to my account, i receive the mail, no problem.
When I just forward or send the email directly, i get that error on the mail log from EFA4.

Gmail -> jotaerre@xyz.pt -> rule send any to jotaerre@xpto.pt -> received ok.
Gmail -> jotaerre@xpto.pt -> error

Fixed. Not an error.
I've moved from exchange 2010 to 2016.
Durig the move, my account, the guinea pig account got deleted.
Somehow, the address I had in google contacts was related with the initial account and was being rejected.
This happened to a coleague, in outlook/exchange, that had my contact in suggested contacts, made sense.
It had a reference to an exchange server/database that didn't exist anymore.
Gmail suggested contacts having the same error was a thing i didn't knew was possible.
But, deleted the contact from gmail, rewrote my address and got greylisted.
I've receive the email, no more errors.
Now everything is fine.
Thank for your sugestions and help.
