Hi there

in /etc/MailScanner/filename.rules.conf

i made the following changes:

# Deny old .doc files
deny \.doc$ Old .doc file -


If we receive a mail with a .doc attachment, the receiver will get the text of the mail but noch the .doc itself.

for some reason i dont understand at the moment, this behavior changed
Now the whole mail is blocked und the customer is waiting for several mails

Any ideas?

Solved it myself

MailScanner.conf

Deliver Cleaned Messages = Yes

OK, next problem with no solution so far

On Efa 3 i could release messages marked as "spam" with sendmail (even it was set to false)
Blocked attachments are sent as new mail from "no-reply@"

On Efa 4 both messages, spam and blocked attachment are released as new mail

If i set sendmail on "true" i'm unable to release blocked attachments

Is there some way to handle mails depending on the status?
spam = use sendmail
Other = make new mail

Any ideas here?

Update incoming to address release various issues on blocked content. Hope to get it tested tonight and ready for release tomorrow. Had a few issues myself.
