EFA4.0 rc3 updates

Hi
loking into the "yum update" output i would assume that rc3 will not get udates .

But will we be able t just change the repository once 4.0 has been released or do we need to reinstall ?

No reinstall, just a repo change :)

So now eFa 4 is just released
How can i "upgrade" to stable from RC3? :D

The question was how to migrate from eFa4 rc3 to final. That's not mentioned in the eFa3 -> eFa4 page.

That said, the build.bash we currently get from https://install.efa-project.org still refers to the testing repo (https://dl.efa-project.org/rpm/eFa4/testing/x86_64).
That's either an oversight or a sign that all the final release rpms are in the rc repo. In the latter case a 'yum update' should do the trick.

I will post instructions later today. Very simple, just switch the repo from testing to the production one!

Just a small note with the first command

Instead of
sudo rm /etc/yum.repos.d/eFa4-Testing.repo

I had to use
sudo rm /etc/yum.repos.d/eFa4-testing.repo

Otherwise i receive a file/folder not found

Hello

I am trying to install eFa4 in a new environment with CentOS7 1908 but I am not succeeding. I noticed that this problem is occurring with different IP addresses located in Brazil.

When I try to download the eFa4.repo file this error occurs:

When I try to download it from an IP address located in the United States, I can:

I did the same process by pasting the URL into different browsers and using IPs from different countries and had the same scenario.

I downloaded the file to another machine located in the United States and copied the content to the machine located in Brazil but was unable to install eFa.

Do you have a firewall/content filter/av scanner/IPS/something ahead of you interrupting your connection?
