Shared DB feature?

Morning,
Wondering if there's been any progress on the shared database features?
I've been away from the beta for a bit so I have missed some of the posts and updates. I was looking through the most recent change log but didn't see any reference.
The 2 instances I've been running as VM's on hyper V 2016 in production for a single domain have been stable.
