Hola,

EFA works gr8, what about creating a Web Filter Appliance, based on squid/clamav/squidguard? I am currently working on a setup with all these and we might turn this one also into an appliance.

I also thought about creating a EAA....email archival appliance to index and store emails for compliance....EFA is *almost* an archival appliance when set up to store all mail...just a thought...

Yeah, well, for that purpose I use Mail Piler, really good product, also freeware.

Have a look, for me this fits the purpose extremely well.

And good and free web filter appliances are not that many out there ...

You use docker orso? I can maybe create an image with squidguard and all? Or a Chef managed setup.

I haven't played with docker as of yet. I've used LXC containers. Similar concept?

Dunno, LXC is new to me! haha
Docker is basically a host that is capable of spinning up docker containers. Containers you can create fairly easy. On your laptop you require virtual box to run Docker.

I can also just upload a .vmdk with some stuff to an ftp location, so you can see what you think of it.
I could also put my Chef recipes on Github, so you can deploy all components with Chef (puppet kinda like)...
