dovecot sasl windows active directory

Hola,
Maybe a nice feature would be to allow sasl authenticated users, but against Windows AD (LDAP) accounts. Then accounts are managed at a central location, which you can also delegate, which reliefs me from maintenance burdens...
So the appliance stays stateless. Just some config files which you can manage with cfengine orso.
Please let me know if this can be on the list.
