SQLgrey error DB (max warn message rate hit, throttling)

Post by Socal_Steve »

Im getting this error in the recent messages. looks like its disconnecting and re-connecting to the sqlgrey DB.

SQLgrey established connection to:
DBI:mysql:database=sqlgrey;host=localhost (max warn message rate hit,
throttling)

Re: SQLgrey error DB (max warn message rate hit, throttling)

Hi,

i have the same Problem as socal_steve.
Graylisting stop working after several time (sometimes a day, somtimes a week). I get the message
"SQLgrey encountered an SQL error and triggered a reconnection to: DBI:mysql:database=sqlgrey;host=localhost" and then
"SQLgrey established connection to: DBI:mysql:database=sqlgrey;host=localhost (max warn message rate hit, throttling)"
But greylisting does not work after this.
E-Mails can´t forwardet from postfix. In messagelog i can see this logentry:
"...Dec 10 09:32:11 EFA postfix/smtpd[2710]: warning: connect to 127.0.0.1:2501: Connection refused"... and
"...Dec 10 09:32:12 EFA postfix/smtpd[2710]: warning: problem talking to server 127.0.0.1:2501: Connection refused..."
Seems that greylisting Service on port 2501 is not working.
Can someone help me?
Is there a command to rebuild or clean the db?
My workarround in the meantime is: revert to working snapshot :-(

thanks
Franz
