Mailgraph inconsistencies.

Post by rdns »

I have a fresh install of EFA. Now I have some mail data collected. I noticed "last week" has the highest numbers instead of "last year". Is this a bug or just a wrong configuration on my part? Any input will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Any chance the time/date changed on your system near the beginning?

System date/time was never changed. Only modification was in /var/www/html/mailscanner/conf.php

Code: Select all

define('DATE_FORMAT', '%d/%m/%y');
to
define('DATE_FORMAT', '%m/%d/%y');
I reverted my settings back to original. But Rejected total for Last Month value is greater than Last Year.

Those graphs are correct.

Reason:

messages/min is averaged for each value along the graph.

The first graph shows greater detail than the past year graphs. This is because the each value plotted represents a greater unit of time (such as an entire week instead of an individual day)

Thanks shawniverson. Please move this post to how to section. It will benefits others. Looks like its by design rather than bug report.
