Wildcards in Whitelists and Blacklists

Post by andyitc »

My apologies if I am telling you something you already know but looking through the FAQ and the forum it wasn't immediately obvious to me. I wanted a way to accept (Whitelist) all emails from a particular domain to all recipients and it wasn't clear to me how to accomplish that.

So for instance if you wanted to accept and Whitelist all emails from the domain idontsendspam.com then you would enter @idontsendspam.com in the from box in the "Add To Whitelist/Blacklist" and then type the word default in the to box

The same of course can be done to blacklist complete domains.

I know this works in EFA 3.0.0.5 but I do not think it works in the previous version

You will notice that adding things to the white or black list does not instantly take effect and you will need to wait a few minutes

Thanks for the info!

MailWatch had a bug in previous versions in which domains weren't being processed properly.
