Can't run manual update

Post by baldgeek »

Am running an older version of E.F.A (0.3) which is letting in lots of spam for certain users. Was trying to manually update but cannot. For some reason, if I try to run "sudo /usr/local/sbin/EFA-Update -update" I get a "No such file or directory" even though I can change to the /usr/local/sbin/ directory and see EFA-Update.

What am I missing?

I downloaded 3.0.0.5, but I get an error VT-x features locked or unavailable in MSR.

Thanks,
Mark

An upgrade from 0.3 to 3.x is not supported you will need to deploy an new instance.

The message you receive makes me think you are running the VMware appliance in Virtualbox am I right there?
If so you probably don't have the compatible hardware needed to run (or virtual box does not support newer VMware images)
Version eFa 4.x now available!

Yes, I needed to reboot and enable virtualization in the bios of the server so that I can run the current 3.0.0.5 OVF in VirtualBox. Have it configured and updating right now.
