add domain

Post by rpw »

Been trying to search forum (no success) on how to add another smtp domain. i.e. we have a domain.org and a domain.com. I've only added the .org address during initial setup. How do I (can I) add the second domain. I'm starting to get emails building in the queue for the .com address.

Also how do I add another user to access mail watch? I'd like separate users for the additional users who will monitor Mailwatch.

Thanks.

Don't know why but when I log in as root it just takes me to the prompt. How do I start the configuration from there?

Thanks.

Use your normal user account.

It is a bad practice to use the root user to logon to a system.

When you login with your normal user it will invoke EFA-Configure.

It won't let me. Keeps saying bad password. I'm able to log into mailwatch with normal user ok.

Fixed it (password). Now to configure. Problem was resolved by changing password for the user account. Turns out the "+" sign can't be used on Linux. Once I was able to find where to change it in Webmin and after fighting with Java I was able to change it to a more friendly password. After that it was easy to add the domains.

Again thanks. Richard.
