TNEF Archives

Post by sharktech »

Hi

A lot more customers emails are coming through with winmail.dat instead of the attachments. From what i can work out they would need to disable TNEF but asking them to change things on their end isn't that easy lol

Can EFA expand the dat file and relay the message with the proper attachments?

Thanks

Thanks Very much, might be worth adding to the shell menu as it looks like 365 has tnef enabled on sending as default.

Thanks

So, when you say most, it is working some of the time, but not most of the time, correct?

Looks like it yes. sometimes the attachments come through other times is passes the dat file even though its expanded it.

I have changed to add for now instead of replace to see if it helps and will let you know asap. i can share some logs with you directly aswell if you like
