New install relay denied

I am very new to this and so far love this project. My one question is that this server is bouncing all messages with a reeling denied message. This server is on the public internet and the mail server is zimbra on the public internet.

Anyone have a quick solution on this as I followed the instructions and did not have any issues outside this

Have you added your domain' s to the transport settings list?

Also make sure that your zimbra server accepts mail from the E.F.A. box.

I am working on this with Graham and I think (pretty sure) that my error lies in the mail getting accepted by the Zimbra server. I can see mail flowing into the EFA box and it is not getting processed through. I've tried setting up in Zimbra, Global Settings, MTA, incoming Mail Relay with no luck. Anyone out there doing this with a Zimbra box that can provide any insight?

I am actually using E.F.A. in front of an Zimbra server but I have not set anything special..

On MTA -> I do have all DNS checks disabled on my zimbra box (as E.F.A. already does that)..

If you send an mail do you see anything on your zimbra box in /var/log/mail.log?

and at the same time what does your E.F.A. box say in the logs:
1) login with ssh
2) press option 1 to get an shell
3) sudo tail -f /var/log/maillog

Are you sure that the domain argos.k12.in.us is set in the transport settings?

just to be a 100% sure check the last part of your efa box in /etc/postfix/transport

1) login with ssh
2) press 1 for shell
3) cat /etc/postfix/transport

at the end it should show something like:

(this is also in the menu' s when you login with ssh (option 8 -> option 4 ) but just to make sure that we don' t have a bug check that file..

I was able to send a message from my efa box to my aleeper account using the command line so mail can get from efa to mail.

I see my error......

I was not entering the "DOMAIN" in the transport settings. I entered the server name. I have fixed it now and will see what happens when I adjust my MX records now.

Well that seems to be wrong

in your logs the mail domain is: argos.k12.in.us not mail.argos.k12.in.us (mail is send to <user>@argos.k12.in.us)

So using EFA-Configure (option 8 mail settings -> 4 transport settings) add the domain

argos.k12.in.us

with the IP of your zimbra box and it should work.
