Hi,
I'm running EFA on the Centos 7 ISO, and I would like to upgrade to Centos 8. Will this break EFA?
Btw, I love EFA, thanks for all the effort guys.
Centos 7 -> 8 upgrade
Re: Centos 7 -> 8 upgrade
Hi
there is no direct upgrade from CentOS 7 to CentOS8. So you need to save the config and your customization and migrate to a new VM.
at least not an official one.
https://wiki.centos.org/FAQ/CentOS8#Is_ ... t_leapp.3F
But you can make a snapshot of your EFA and fall back if it fails, assuming you are using a VM.

Re: Centos 7 -> 8 upgrade
OK, thanks for your reply. I will give it a go, but, as far as I can see, a CentOS dist-upgrade is not as seamless as for instance Ubuntu.
Re: Centos 7 -> 8 upgrade
Centos/RedHat has never tried to provide an upgrade path between major versions.
