upgrade from ESVA?
upgrade from ESVA?
Released?? Awesome! Is there an upgrade path from ESVA?
Re: upgrade from ESVA?
Hi bbrendon,
sadly no, due to the huge amount of changes (and upgraded OS from 32 to 64bit) it is not possible to upgrade from ESVA to E.F.A.
We are looking at some script that might ease things up a bit more (backup/import white and black list for example.)

Re: upgrade from ESVA?
I'm thinking about the migration tool.
I think that migrating the blacklists, whitelists, some of the SQLGrey stuff if in use, and even the users might be accomplished.
Not sure but bayes might even be something too (no promises!)
A migration tool would even be a great benefit long term for E.F.A. It could be used to move information between appliances, a pseudo backup, major version upgrades, etc.

Re: upgrade from ESVA?
My warm thanks to all who worked on getting EFA out!!!
In the "howto-esva-setup20.pdf" there are instructions for a migration. In the past I have followed them with success. A revised version of these instructions would be a great help. I would also like to be able to keep the "MTA Statistics". I did not succeed in taking these along last time.
