Allow public IP to mark spam and release ham?

So I guess I have a unique way of using eFa. Kimsufi offers these super cheap $22/month servers so I'm using one to run eFa as a free extra service to all my clients running in-house mail servers. My clients all have static public IPs, curious if I can allow connections from those IPs to be able to let my users click links at the bottom of emails to mark as spam or release the ham? I added one public as a test but it doesn't work, I'm guessing there is some kind of check happening in the background to see if the request comes from a private IP.

My other thought is to set up VPN tunnel so they can connect via private IP to release, but the public IP would be so much easier.

Bump. I still can't quite figure this one out. I'm guessing there is a script somewhere I need to modify.
