Installable antivirus

Hi,
At this moment there are only 2 free antivirus for Efa : clamd & sophos free for unix
they have a big differences
clam uses a daemon in memory to scan so it doesnt have to load libraries on each incoming mail
sophos takes about 7 seconds to load for each email
if you consider that other spamassassin activities takes about 2 seconds ading sophos scan needt to use x4 processor time in a box to scan same email traffic
We have fount that sophosavi, the way to use also sophos as a daemon is unsupoported now
Is there a way to use sophos free at mta level and accept anyway but marking in some way in header ?
Is mta level cpu unexpensive like daemon ?
