mail randomly not scanned "timed out" rule
mail randomly not scanned "timed out" rule
I have an issue with my EFA setup where some messages have a 0.00 score due to not being scanned at all and it displays a matched rule of "timed" and score of "out". I assume I'm supposed to gather from this that it is timing out? See the attached screenshot. Any ideas how I would troubleshoot this issue?

Re: mail randomly not scanned "timed out" rule
Hi spun the 10th
On the latest version? ( see software versions in Gui)
As you mention 'some messages', the other messages are scanned ok?
Check Gui->tools->spamassin lint test
Did you check DNS (unbound), as I think it could timeout checking the rbl's.
There is a basic script to check your DNS config. (including your local network)
viewtopic.php?f=14&t=3032
or use dig, nslookup or drill to check manualy.
