Plenty of mail stuck in Quarantine

Post by jonesss »

I am having trouble with almost 700 mail that has been tagged as "Other" in the Quarantine, during some Exchange licensing problem. The servers are up and running now.
Do anyone know any way that I can release the mails in a fast way?

Thanks!

Even with exchange licensing issues, such as a trial period extending beyond the 180 days, and receiving a notice in ECP that the trial is over and you need to apply a key, exchange will still function and receive mail.

If exchange were down and not receiving during this time, the messages would have been queued within EFA. You can check the counters on the main page, under the section of "Mail Queues" at the top. There will be an inbound and Outbound option, that are both clickable. If both are reporting 0, then mail is not queued within EFA.

Can you provide some screenshots of the errors specifically? In your headers, if you click quarantine, it will actually show you how much mail you received per day. Perhaps this is what you're referring too? Since MailScanner will save a copy of the good email in "quarantine" as well (if the setting was enabled during configuration), even if it did not get flagged as spam.
