EFA as Outbound Mail Relay

Post by DukeOfAwesome »

Hi Everyone,

Firstly, thanks to everyone involved in this project.

I am trying to setup EFA to relay email for the internal subnet of 192.168.10.0/24. I thought this was done via Mail Settings > Outbound Mail Relay option in EFA-Configure. But when I set that for our internal subnet of 192.168.10.0/24 every time I try to send an email though EFA it is rejected with:

"The server rejected one or more recipient addresses. The server response was: 450 4.7.1 Client host rejected: cannot find your reverse hostname, [192.168.10.5]"

EFA is on teh same subnet and it's IP is 192.168.10.150. I can ping it and access Mail Watch.

Can someone tell me the correct way to use EFA as a internal relay?

Thanks

Duke

Sounds to me like a problem with the "reject_unknown_reverse_client_hostname" in /etc/postfix/main.cf
