For server INTERNAL to the LAN - If I simply setup EFA IP address the emails go out via EFA
I have an EXTERNAL domain I want to use for outbound via EFA
What do I need to do?
How do I setup a EFA as a Smarthost for Outbound

If it requires authentication, you will want to set up authentication to the next hop.
If not, you can simply add a relay host using EFA-Configure (option 8, and then 1)

at the moment hosts have 192.168.1.0/24 meaning that all Servers on the LOCAL Lan are allowed
I notice the description says LOCAL mail-servers or clients!
are external Servers allowed ?
if so, do I add the EXTERNAL IP i.e. 81.xx.xx.xx/29
so will have 192.168.1.0/24 81.x.x.x/29 for the hosts entry ??

Sorry, do you mean relay email for an external host? I may have misunderstood you.
Then yes, you are on the right track.
