Re: Report of all items marked as spam / virus
With the new auto-release function, client can receive the spam-reports.
Only thing is, even e-mails which have passed the scanner as Clean or W/L are shown.
My clients are thinking all those emails are blocked too.
When will this feature be available, to only to spam etc in the reports instead of everything?
Same is for the Quarantine tab in Mailscanner.

Check out EFA-Configure, and look for 9) Spam Settings --> 1) Non-spam settings
Re: Report of all items marked as spam / virus
Would you mind sharing what this option allows?
Anyway, I'm asking as I need to figure out the options before I update.
I haven't updated yet still on 3.0.1.1 and I can't see any optio nthere that might be useful but maybe that changed with 3.0.1.3?Check out EFA-Configure, and look for 9) Spam Settings --> 1) Non-spam settings

Re: Report of all items marked as spam / virus
It disables storing/quarantining non-spam, numbers may be different depending on version.
Re: Report of all items marked as spam / virus
OK, I see, but the other person asked if the "HAM" could be skipped in the quarantine reports.
Your suggestion is to stop storing HAM completely. Does that really mean it won't show in the reports, after all, the reports should show everything that passed through EFA, whether it was stored or not.
Wouldn't it be simpler to have an option of what to include in those reports?
I for one, really like the feature to store HAM/SPAM and even VIRUSes for 1 month but wouldn't want to show the HAM in the reports, there is no point releasing those, right?

Re: Report of all items marked as spam / virus
You can also do that.
Check out /var/www/html/mailscanner/conf.php
Look for HIDE_NONSPAM option

Is it also possible to send spam-only reports, but keep all-mail (non-spam, spam etc) in the mailscanner interface?shawniverson wrote:It disables storing/quarantining non-spam, numbers may be different depending on version.
