Issues with Processing Database

We have issues where were finding the processing database get stuck and just cycles a set of emails over and over. Looks like SPAM ASSASSIN also stops checking these messages. A reboot of mailscanner resolves this but does anyone know a fix.

I have also found a few times where the Max Spam Checks limit to too low and I have increased it from 200k to 300k to allow some legitimate email through. Can anyone shed any light as if I leave this increased will I cause issues anywhere else?

which version of EFA are you running?

in 3.0.0.6 we already increased the max size, this should not give any issues.

If the processing gets stuck it might be that you are running with to many mailscanner childrens or your hardware is not powerfull enough for your load (try to increase the memory)
So if you never changed the default mailscanner children item I would suggest increasing the memory of your VM as a first step.

Thanks! Looks like the 3.0.0.6 version has resolved the issue
