Mail Relay

Post by pipjo »

Hi,

In my setup I have a local Mail Spool that stores emails if my Exchange server is down.
When the Exchange comes back up, the mailspool delivers any mails it has received to my Exchange on Port 25.

This works fine

However when I introduce eFa to the setup so MailSpool -> eFa -> Exchange it does not work as eFa cannot perform a reverse lookup on my Mail spool. I have worked around this by pointing the spool directly to the exchange but this is obviously not ideal.

Is there anything I can do to make eFa accept the mails from the MailSpool even though it hasn't got a reverse lookup?

If it helps my addresses are:
MailSpool - 10.0.0.4
eFa - 10.0.0.1
Exchange - 10.0.0.8

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the quick reply.
An entry for what?
The Spooler on eFa or something else?
