Re: Looping mail going into quarrantine
Did these messages also really get delivered as duplicates? I noticed now 2 times during testing that sometimes the Baruwa interface shows all emails multiple times but this only seems to be in the interface. Mails are not send out multiple times. After a restart from baruwa this was gone. Maybe you...

Re: EFA - Hyper-V
For networking make sure the 'legacy' networking adapter is connected to a virtual switch.
Weird that it didn't work on your non R2 2008 server, I specialy installed one to test but it worked there :S

Re: EFA - Hyper-V
I tested on a non R2 server and all seems to be working fine. Are you using the import option in Hyper-V Manager or just selecting the disks it self? See for example: http://www.howtogeek.com/104148/beginner-how-to-import-and-export-virtual-machines-in-hyper-v/ and scroll down to Importing a Virtual...

I don't know if there is a difference in R2 maybe.
I will try it out tomorrow, I sucessfully installed it on a few 2008 R2 hyper-v servers but never tried a non R2 machine.

Re: Stoked!!
What about only passing mail for the domain per actual users created? Also domain signatures did not seem to apply for e-mails As Datopdog mentioned here: http://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=7#p13 there is baruwa addon available to use AD integration (and this checking AD if a user...

Re: Why Debian?
Well Ubuntu is based on debian unstable packages (if you do a cat /etc/debian_version you will see it notes sid (which is the unstable branch http://www.debian.org/releases/sid/) Not that ubuntu is 'unstable' but it do means that packages are updated more often. something I want to keep at a minimum...

Re: Why Debian?
Everyone preferes there own system best for me thats Debian. Ubuntu is based on Debian unstable because I want to have a stable system without all the updates (ubuntu has many more updates then Debian has) so using Debian saves valuable time maintaing servers. Thats the best thing about opensource s...

Re: Configure Integrated Packages/MTA?
When booting for the first time the system will ask a few questions for IP settings & user/passwords. (Still have to make screenshots for that by the way..) After that only Baruwa needs to be configured (as described here: howto-configuration and the system should be ready to receive and check m...

Re: EFA Active Directory Integration?
The first few releases will be focusing on effectively fighting spam, I do want to include AD integration but probably in a later release.
(but if someone has the knowledge and time to build it we can always include it in a earlier version)

Re: EFA - Hyper-V
I already created a Hyper-V image for you
see: http://www.efa-project.org/download/
It is compressed using 7zip so you will need 7zip to decompress the .7z file.

Build E.F.A from scratch.
If you want to use E.F.A on direct hardware instead of a VM you will need to build E.F.A from a build script. A bit of Linux (Debian) knowledge is required to get this working. Currently there is no bootstrap script available so you will need to install Debian 6.0.x (x86) your self with the followin...

Configure E.F.A after installation.
After the system is rebooted open a web browser and browse to the IP of your EFA server. To get EFA working you will need to create a domain admin user and add domains to that user. For example if you have 2 company's you create two domain admins and add the domains of that specific company to the s...

Re: EFA - Hyper-V
That could be possible, I am currently documenting the build script, with the build script it is possible to build EFA on any machine you want from scratch (linux knowledge is required however because a basic installed debian system is needed) I currently don't have a Hyper-V host available but I ca...
