Why would you want to receive mail on user@IP
This is not supported anywhere and should never be used.
a long long long time ago (the beginning of the internet..) this was used but now with multi domain servers its useless and is not supported anymore.

Re: is there an overview of EFA
As EFA is build with MailScanner as its core an good start in reading would be the MailScanner manual, it will probably explain all your questions.

Re: 32 bit support
It should work but we build everything on 64bit, we don't see any reason to also provide an 32bit build.
As the systems requires a minimum of 4GB memory and for a larger install even more, using 32bit would be useless.

Testing confirms, older versions of Mailwatch load the same list in a few sec, newer versions are slow.

If your system is processing good and you don't feel there are any bottlenecks then you can ignore the messages.

Re: *Warning: Pre-queue content-filter connection overload
I Guess you added mailwatch yourself? (as this is not part of EFA by default).. But I know the message, this means most likely that there are not enough resources for your EFA appliance. If you have it available increase the amount of memory and add CPU's, but this will only work if your undelying h...

Re: Update to 3.0.0.8 clamd issue
Yep on 3.0.0.7 the repo should be rpmforge on 3.0.0.8 it should be epel.
we partially removed rpmforge in 3.0.0.8 and in 3.0.0.9 it will be removed completely (as rpmforge is not maintained anymore)

Re: EFA 3008 messages disappearing
DNSmasq will cache query's to speed things up.
As test you can try to edit /etc/resolv.conf and add the IP's of your own DNS servers to bypass DNSMasq for a while.

Re: Update to 3.0.0.8 clamd issue
Can it be that you manually modified the yum.conf file like someone mentioned here: (https://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=1024&p=3231&hilit=yum.conf#p3231) ? We never set an exclude in the yum.conf file in E.F.A. we use the EFA-update scripts to exclude clam packages from w...

Re: EFA 3008 messages disappearing
Login with SSH to the E.F.A. box you will get the EFA-Configure console -> choose 'IP Settings' Then option 4 DNS recursion, this can be enabled or disabled Enabled then E.F.A. uses its own internal DNS server for resolving, if disabled it is using the primary and secondary (option 5 and 6) DNS serv...

Re: Update to 3.0.0.8 clamd issue
What do you get when you run: sudo yum list installed clam* Should be similar to: Installed Packages clamav.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel clamav-db.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel clamd.x86_64 0.98.7-1.el6 @epel Is there any difference ?

Re: EFA 3008 messages disappearing
in 3.0.0.8 we added recursive DNS (have you enabled it?)
If enabled E.F.A. will do its DNS query's by its own so if you use split DNS it won't know the internal IP.
disable recursive DNS or use the hosts file will be the best solution then.

Re: EFA 3008 messages disappearing
On E.F.A. you can check the /var/log/maillog file there everything mail related is logged. Just guessing here, but it sounds like your exchange is blocking connections from the spam filter and because of that E.F.A. will not be able to deliver the mail and thus drop the mail (or send an NDR). I have...
