Re: Personal spam thresholds are ignored

Silly question, but did you enable per user scoring via the CLI/SSH? Menu option 6 (MailWatch Settings) -> 4 (Per User Scoring) -> Make sure it is maked as enabled Even though in the web GUI, it has the option for per-user scoring, it is ignored unless enabled via CLI/SSH. Please be sure to read the...

Re: Slow Spam Reporting

When a message gets reported, its updating your local DB, and reporting it to pyzor. Based on your video, it looks like your web service is stopping during the report. Do you get message from EFA monitor regarding httpd stopping and restarting unexpectedly? Have you done any customization to httpd o...

Re: Slow Spam Reporting

Is there a reason you're only using http and not https? One of the changes in 3.0.2.5 was changing the default url for quarantine reports to https, but that shouldn't effect reporting within the main mailwatch gui. What happens when you enable https (you can use the kets encrypt feature for simplici...

Re: Update to 3.0.2.5 deactivates official certificates in postfix

Yes. Any custom certificate paths used within postfix or apache, will need to be updated to correct values again.

All prior certs used for apache were backed up in "/etc/pki/tls/backup" in the upgrades from 3.0.2.4 to 3.0.2.5

Re: Help - hacked may be ?

Since efa isnt an outbound relay, you can edit this file /etc/postfix/main.cf Look for "my networks" and remove the entry for your subnet, and just leaving the 127.0.0.1 entry. By default efa will allow your entire subnet to relay against the box. You can then log into webmin and look at t...

Re: Release: error code 75 returned from Sendmail: sendmail: fatal:

Issue will be resolved in 3.0.2.6 by use of a new variable, that can be defined/updated in the EFA-Configure menus.

Re: View Rejected messages

There is an used variable in the EFA-Init that was meant to be used for postfix alerts. Up until 3.0.2.6, it was unused.

3.0.2.6 will have the ability to set postfix alert emails via the new menus

Re: cant access mailwatch after AD password change

You actually have the answer in your post. Code to be changed: $myusername = safe_value($myusername); Code to replace the above with: $myusername = safe_value($result); The "-" means this line has been deleted/changed, and the "+" means this is what it was changed to. (old) - $my...

Re: A fallback mailserver image

The message gets stored in the DB to what server it arrived and is processed/stored. This is to avoid the issue you're describing within MailWatch. As long as the XML-RPC is configured properly in the .conf for MailWatch, and the 2 machines can converse via a back-end link (either private or public)...

Re: A fallback mailserver image

Will the 2 eFa boxes be located in the same network/location? This is currently what I'm doing for my deployment. If so, you can break apart the DB functions to a dedicated machine and then update the eFa code to reflect the changes. (These mods will need added every time you upgrade your eFa system...

Re: 3.0.2.5 - letsencrypt

You have 2 options

1 - Continue using your self implemented solution, and do not enable the new built-in feature. No impact to your current installs.
2 - Undo your self implemented solution, and enable the new built-in feature.

Re: Switch off any letsencrypt mechanism

Please see reply here - viewtopic.php?f=13&t=2733 - regarding the upgrade to 3.0.2.5.

Let's Encrypt is not touching cert paths unless you enable it, it's the upgrade to harden security that is causing your issue.

While logged into MailWatch, can you take a snippet of the "Free Disk Space" at the top-center of the page and post here? We want to see how your system was carved up.

Re: Update to 3.0.2.5 deactivates official certificates in postfix

This is expected. The update from 3.0.2.4 -> 3.0.2.5 regenerates the self-signed cert from SHA1 2048bit to a SHA256 4096bit. With the regeneration of the cert, it also has a new name, to prepare for EC certs as well. The code assumes no modifications were made to eFa (pure vanilla system) and update...

Re: STARTTLS Let's Encrypt bug (and manual fix).

Fix published for 3.0.2.6 release

https://github.com/E-F-A/v3/issues/396

Once 3.0.2.6 is released, any instances affected by this will need to disable Let's Encrypt and re-enable the feature for the proper paths and renewal script to be replaced.

Actually, the restart for webmin was not included in the code. You can either reboot the appliance after enabling Let's Encrypt for the fixing of Webmin or run the below service webmin restart The script will be updated to reflect the webmin service restart, as will the monthly renewal script, in an...
