What is the source of your fix? Are you using vmware or hyperv?

Re: Today's total
I had the same problem. Few things to check. 1) Too many mailscanner threads (no more than 2 per vCPU) 2) Mailscanner Processing attempts bug http://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=552 3) If all else fails, examine the mail log to see exactly why MailScanner is failing and retrying me...

Re: efa 3.0.0.4
Yep, that's it.
We had a great discussion on IRC yesterday.
I believe we are going to add error handling and perhaps rollback capability to EFA-Update.
This will make problems like this easier to handle for everybody and allow time to correct issues.

Re: EFA translation
1) Sorry, we only have English at the moment. However, if you are willing to translate (you can download MailScanner and get all the languages), I would be happy to add it to our source branch :D 2) Can you share this php file with me? I think I know what it needs to start working. Maybe I can add i...

Re: SPAM Exchange Sync with EFA
Yep, you can set "X-Spam-Status=YES" using EFA-Configure and set spam to be delivered.
If Exchange is configured to watch for this, it will place the spam in the spam folder in Exchange.

EFA Day -- Sunday 4/6
Greetings everyone. I and my colleagues have been very busy lately with our everyday jobs. Been pulling 12 hour days... So, I am setting aside this Sunday (Eastern Daylight Time UTC -4) as an EFA Day. I will be busy in further developments of EFA, monitoring the forum, and will be available on our o...

That's interesting. I am going to do some testing and see if I can figure out what is happening here.

Re: Releasing from the quaratine email
When I am logged into EFA and click View in the Quarantine report, it takes me to the message.
However, if I am not logged into EFA, it takes me to the message list.
I wonder if some kind of redirect after login might be needed for this?

Re: IPv6 support
No, some of the components of EFA are currently IPV4 only. I hope that some of the 3rd party components will be updated soon by the developers to support IPV6.

Re: Some issues
1. The quarantine report goes to each recipient that has Send Daily Reports enabled in MailWatch under the User Management. 2. Yep, you can. There's an option in EFA-Configure to set up HTTPS. 3. MailWatch appears to not be using Unicode. I will do some research here and see if this can be improved.

Re: EFA relaying mail, but no spam filtering
Are you able to resolve the name of your exchange server from your EFA?
Also, is the Exchange server allowing emails inbound from EFA?
Feel free to share the rejection info and I can help troubleshoot further.

Re: Update issue
It appears we are encountering a cert problem with github.com. We ran into this with the kickstart file. Looks like we are having issues connecting to raw.github.com too now. To fix your setup. Head over to https://github.com/E-F-A/v3/tree/3.0.0.4 and fetch copies of those files from the 3.0.0.4 bra...

It sounds like for some reason EFA-Init did not complete on your setup. Were the passwords you changed random or the default "EfaPr0j3ct"?

Please try reinstalling this package.
This package should contain the code for the ldap_connect routine. For some reason your system is unable to locate it...
Code: Select all
yum remove php-ldap
yum install php-ldap

Re: Dynamic Email Signatures
By design, MailScanner only allows specific fields in the signature line. In order to accomplish this, you would need to extend the custom function routines in MailScanner and write code to pull the information and insert it into the signature. Not an easy task, but it can be done. If you look at /u...

Ok. Now, out of curiosity, what is the name of the user you set up when you first powered on the VM?
