Although Postfix RBLs are the most efficient, it does result in emails being blocked without any sort of indication. Postfix has an default limit of 10mb. You will need to increase the message_size_limit with postconf.

Do you have greylisting enabled? This will cause a minimum of 5 minutes of delay on incoming messages...

Also, make sure your EFA has plenty of CPU and memory to process incoming messages. 2 vCPUs and 2GB of ram is default, but may need increased if you are handling high volumes of messages.
