Re: Adding authentication

Similar to this?

https://kitt.hodsden.org/blog/2014/06/p ... cess_mysql

I could probably do this and sync from mailwatch users table...

Re: Adding authentication

So you not only need logins but also a recipient list for postfix generated and synced from the logins?

Re: Adding authentication

So, do you just need to import users into mysql for EFA in bulk?

Re: OpenDKIM and Inline signatures

Looks like you need to spin up a second instance of postfix on EFA to resolve this that handles DKIM signing. Otherwise the milter processes before mailscanner.

Re: Blacklisting A Tricky Sender

That is true, this is a limitation of mailscanner and mailwatch.

Now, why not just disable the Spam Not Delivered notifications in your case?

Re: OpenDKIM and Inline signatures

How can this be a bug when we have not even added this feature to EFA yet?

DKIM needs to be the last thing that happends before the mail is sent out, otherwise an inline-signature will break the DKIM signature.

Re: Extra Features

1. Which function to which you are referring? There should be a delete option after you select the domain you want to edit?

2. You should already be able to do this. Example:

From: (leave first part blank) @ somedomain.sometld
To: default

Re: Long Lists loading in MailWatch web interface

Any chance this EFA had a problem recently that may have caused a lot of entries into the database (mail scan loop?)

Re: RAR with EXE

Ok.

Next....

Is MailScanner set to scan rar archives like this?

Code: Select all

Unrar Command = /usr/bin/unrar
Unrar Timeout = 50
Maximum Archive Depth = 3
Maximum Archive depth can be different depending on how deep you go. 0 disables this.

When you run a file -i against the RAR, is it actually a RAR archive?

Oh yeah, you can also enable MailScanner to scan for exe's inside of zips too and just block them unconditionally.

Yeah, clam sure isn't hitting this one. Hence the ever evolving landscape of viruses... Solutions: 1) You can submit it to clam and see if they make a signature for it http://cgi.clamav.net/sendvirus.cgi 2) Consider adding a second virus scanner to EFA.
