Re: Change Listening SMTP port???
That looks correct.
I'll add a feature request to allow port changes in the future.

Re: Password protected zipped files - can they be allowed for one domain only?
Yes, it should be possible to do this as a rule set... Change this in /etc/MailScanner/MailScanner.conf Allow Password-Protected Archives = no To this.... Allow Password-Protected Archives = %rules-dir%/pp.archives.rules Create /etc/MailScanner/rules/pp.archives.rules FromOrTo: somedomain.net yes Fr...

Well, if it is possible in postfix, then it should be possible in EFA (EFA uses postfix)...

Re: PRVS email whitelisting
This looks a similar to SRS that I saw in another post.
The rub is that the addresses rewritten cause problems with whitelisting because no two on each day are the same.
I will continue researching this.

Re: on the fly aliasing
You can create and kill off aliases in your mail server anytime your want....EFA won't care unless you are using recipient filters. Even then you could sync your emails and aliases with a script, depending on where they are stored.

Re: Wrong link in Message Quarantine Report
Did you happen to run system-config-network at some point?
That is not something EFA would have put into /etc/sysconfig/network.

Okay, in order for me to help you I need a picture of what is happening...i have the same problem not solved.
1) How much disk space is used (df -h)
2) How much memory do you have allocated and used (top -n 1)
3) What services are running (ps -ef)

Re: Wrong link in Message Quarantine Report
Quarantine Report uses the hostname as defined by the system. After running the above command, check /etc/sysconfig/network for a HOSTNAME=<myhostname> entry (no spaces and no <>). If there isn't one there, you need to add one. EFA-Configure assumes that one is already present (as there should be). ...

Re: Domain Reject DNS Bug?
Not if your internal DNS server is authoritative for your domain. It will just reply I dunno and won't recurse any further.
Without a deeper understanding of how your postfix is configured, I am not sure why EFA would even need to see the MX at all.

Re: Wrong link in Message Quarantine Report
Use EFA-Configure to set your hostname...
Log into the console...
Choose option 4) IP Settings and make your changes to the hostname and the domain name.

Re: Domain Reject DNS Bug?
If you are hosting your own DNS, even though it is internal, that makes sense actually. The rest of the world still needs to be able to locate your EFA via an MX record resolving via your DNS.

Re: Not scanning in zip files
Yes, a .doc is like a .zip in the eyes of MailScanner. It gets "unzipped" so to speak, to scan its contents.

Re: Domain Reject DNS Bug?
EFA should look at whichever DNS server it is configured to look at. Currently, this is handled in dnsmasq, but that is about to change in the next update to Unbound to fix RBL lookup problems. /etc/resolv.dnsmasq You need [ ] in your postfix transport tables, etc. if you want to force postfix not t...

Re: permssions issue with freshclam and updates
Shawn Could you disable the do-it-yourself EFA clamav package and use the epel one ? Maybe in a future version ? In this way you have everytime the new version of clamav. https://github.com/E-F-A/v3/commit/70a270daa44c5a24e48abe8b80157b1a95ee806b Problem is that the CentOS Update channel and EPEL c...
