Re: Stops processing email and queue builds up

You've a hard problem to diagnose without actual an actual login to the box, and probably trivial to diagnose with.

Is it possible you could give access to someone (*cough* Shawn *cough*) to speed up the process?

Re: Mail does not get trough Postfix

How exactly did you configure postfix? I am not sure what you mean by "copy paste from mx1 to mx". EFA is an appliance and is relatively simple to setup. Use EFA-Configure from those screen shots to configure postfix to accept mail for the domain. Can you give me a block diagram of your mail system?...

Re: Mail does not get trough Postfix

Have you configured the system to allow it to accept mail for that domain?

Re: How to increase score for SPF Fail emails in SpamAssasin

Just be aware that a lot of legimate mail may also have spf failures as well.

Monitor your changes closely to be sure you're happy with the result.

The wiki (https://efa-project.org/wiki/HowTos) has some links back to the forums for these kinds of things. In your case, you should look at these links https://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=814&p=2612&hilit=local.cf#p2612 https://forum.efa-project.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=827&p=3252#p2...

Are you having disk performance problems with your current workload? Or are you just looking to use RAM disks because they are kinda cool?

Have you considered using flash drives instead?

How do you get it working in postfix, and were you able to get it working with EFA?

Re: Next Major release OS version

It's Debian with more spit and polish. It's my second choice for servers after Centos. The other thing is that it has lots of packages available which means less time looking for a supported package.

Re: transport mapping

Why would you want to do that? I guess you could do it through round robin DNS. e.g. assume I have host1, host2, and host3 with ip1, ip2, ip3 and all three hosts know how to handle my mail for the.domain. create three DNS A record enrtries with the name 'allhosts'' then configure EFA to send mail fo...

Re: permssions issue with freshclam and updates

I see now. You were using the version of ClamAV (0.98.4) from rpmforge, and I was using the version from EPEL (0.98.6) and they had different, somewhat conflicting configuration settings. I think using clamav from EPEL is the better solution, as rpmforge seems to have gone to sleep. The Centos addit...

Ooooooh, I get it now.

I think you're right.

Let me check what repos I've enabled in the morning and report back. And if I have, I'll need to find out why I did it and messed everything up.

Re: What am I missing???

Perhaps you could explain a little bit more about what you want to do? What is GFI anyway? Normally, EFA is configured to accept mail for the domain, do its checks and then forward the mail to an internal mail host. That's pretty much it. From the internet, to EFA, then to the internal mail host. - ...

So you'll need to change the first one at least. Say 21 days?

Changing the second is optional. You won't save very much changing those.

Re: First Crash - Newby Needs Help

You've got 32 days there, so your cleaner hasn't been cleaning.

in /etc/cron.daily is a script called mailwatch which appears to handle the cleaning. I'm looking through it now.

I'm also curious as you why the /var/dcc directory takes up so much space.
