Re: Reject Mail if sending client has no MX-record for domain part of "mail from:" header
Nearly ... I know about SPF but thought maybe it would be possible to achieve a setup like the one in question. If it is true like stated here: http://trends.builtwith.com/mx/SPF only the top sites and the good managed ones are already using SPF records but the main sites aren´t. There are so many m...

Re: How to integrate E.F.A with Active Directory on 3.0.0.9
To only query if the incoming RCPT TO: address is valid you only have to do the above mentioned steps in postfix. But... BE CAREFULL WITH THE LDAP SETTINGS: By now I did not figure out how to use SSL for the AD-Query. The user and password to query your AD-server (both postfix and mailwatch) is sent...

A registration 1 minute before the first post does not automatically mean that is has to be a bot.

Re: Reject Mail if sending client has no MX-record for domain part of "mail from:" header
Thank you for your reply! Of course we can discuss this topic on a more efficient channel. But one thing has to meet the global E.F.A requirements: If an online discussion is more efficient to solve this I will be a part of it. But fitting the nature of this project I / we will share our conclusions...

Reject Mail if sending client has no MX-record for domain part of "mail from:" header
I do not know if this is a silly question but I could not get usefull information so I am asking here ... I know that the subject of the thread does not meet the practical mail flow so let me explain a bit. Normally when a client connects and sends an email, postfix can handle the following restrict...

Re: Notice: Undefined index: in hourly cron-jobs
I think I fixed it by myself. Looking up what is happening in functions.php the script seems to get problems updating the array with "%param%"-parameters when a custom config file in /etc/MailScanner/conf.d is used. SOLUTION: I copied the settings of "%org-name%" and "%rules...

Re: Docker / Kickstart-File for Docker?
There would be a lot of dependencies that need to be resolved but the idea of a docker container to fight against spam is awesome!

Re: Change greylist time
you can edit /etc/sqlgrey/sqlgrey.conf and tweak for your needs ## Greylisting delays # If you want to be really strict (RFC-wise) use these # This is *not* recommended, you'll have false positives # reconnect_delay = 15 # don't allow a reconnection before 15 minutes # max_connect_age = 2 # don't al...

MCP Actions -> custom()
Hi all! I just registered so I can be part of future dicussions. First of all I want to thank for all the great work that E.F.A has made towards a great anti-spam solution. I evalutated some solutions (commercial and free available) but I think E.F.A is built on a good set of modules and the detecti...
