Re: Convert from CentOS 8 to Rocky
before running the script i edited the repos from their current to vault.centos.org and disabled-re-enabled them. I was able to proceed with the upgrade script at that point and didn't encounter any issues. I was prompted to do so because I otherwise didn't have git on the system to grab the script.

Re: Convert from CentOS 8 to Rocky
I upgraded my system today from Centos to Rocky. From what I can tell there are no issues. I verified mail flow and the webui seems fully functional. Always possible I am missing something, but initially, it looks good.

Re: Problem with efa as an open relay
i set the box back up from scratch (again previous system was only setup for about 3 days). The web user is unique and does not have a local account. Is there anyway that was somehow the issue? All creds are unique so i will let you know.

Re: Problem with efa as an open relay

Re: Problem with efa as an open relay
here is an example of a message, of note it lists them as an authenticated sender. I am not sure what mechanism that would be the case. it is the system admin email, is there some bug there where they can simply specifiy that from email and the system allows it? Otherwise i am not sure what ...

Problem with efa as an open relay
So i just redeployed this a few days ago on centos 8. This is the first time i encountered this issue and I have been using efa for about 4 years. I am sure my relay settings have not changed. I am curious though on what could be causing this.

Not using downloaded eFa4/repomd.xml because it is older than what we have

I am reviewing the efa appliance now, the links are present, even now when i am remote. Taking a step back, when i initially reported the issue my exchange server was down because i was patching the storage array.

view content of allowed messages
I have efa 4 running at my house in a home lab but i do receive email for my personal domains. sometimes I perform maintenance on my storage server and as a result take my mailserver down. It looks like out of the box I cannot view message body of allowed messages in EFA. Is this configurable? I ...

Better LDAP integration
I would love to see a centralized management for LDAP intergration.
1. Adding it to the gui so that you can have all access and valid recipients validated via ldap.
2. Adding ldap support per email domain so that we have granular control of what addresses are valid for each domain.

Re: LDAP integration with multiple domains
I may be incorrectly associating the GUI with mailwatch, adding a user to the main gui (which i associate with mailwatch since mailwatch ldap config allows access to the webgui) does seem to populate something with valid recipients. I added one user to the main gui and i can get emails through efa ...

Re: LDAP integration with multiple domains
I may be able to piece something together. I have mailwatch letting me authenticate via 2 ldap servers (if the login to the first one fails i just have it try the second). probably not the cleanest way but for right now with my testing its fine.
