Re: After upgrade, all messages getting stopped as Other Infection

So, after further troubleshooting and making it actually get worse, I ended up just spinning up a new EFA VM and calling it a day.

Re: After upgrade, all messages getting stopped as Other Infection

Still no luck getting mail to flow. I did spin up a new 3.0.1.5 VM and grabbed all of the files in /usr/share/MailScanner/reports/en and put them on my broken instance. That resolved the errors on MailScanner restart, but did not resolve my issues with mail not getting anywhere.

Any suggestions ...

After upgrade, all messages getting stopped as Other Infection

I upgraded to 3.0.1.5 earlier today, and ever since, all of my incoming email is getting blocked as follows:

Other Infection: Y
Report: MailScanner: killedmailscanner

I don't know if this is the cause, or just related, but when I run the MailScanner Lint test (or restart MailScanner), I get the ...

Re: 3.0.0.9 Upgrade - Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel

Looks like I may have borked my copy of ca-bundle.crt when I installed my SSL cert a few weeks ago...luckily, I kept a copy of the original. Putting it back in place seems to have fixed the issue (update running right now). Now I just have to see if my SSL works after the upgrade finishes.

3.0.0.9 Upgrade - Cannot retrieve metalink for repository: epel

I'm trying to perform the upgrade fro 3.0.0.9 from 3.0.0.8 and got through the first pass of the update which updated the kernel, and now, after rebooting, I get this every time I try to complete the update:

Starting update to E.F.A. 3.0.0.9

Howdy from Chicago

New to EFA (since yesterday), but so far, I love it. I am replacing a really old virtual appliance that runs some of the same code, but not nearly as well. Keep up the good work!
