Re: Gmail Issue
Solved my own problem. Turns out when I tried using Let's Encrypt earlier, it changed TLS settings for SMTP Authentication And Encryption for postfix. I found the settings in Webmin: TLSsettings.jpg When I pointed the files away from the letsencrypt folder and back to my real certificates, Gmail sta...

Re: new 3.0.2.3 install - Cannot login to Mailwatch admin page with any acct if change to use AD/LDAP
BTW, here is what the last entry in modsec_audit.log says before I disabled modsecurity in Apache: --7f0db94b-A-- [13/Jun/2017:07:36:49 --0400] WT-OUQoAACMAAHD5BfgAAAAD 84.201.133.68 58331 10.0.0.35 443 --7f0db94b-B-- GET /robots.txt HTTP/1.1 Host: <my EFA> Connection: Keep-Alive user-agent: Mozilla...

Re: new 3.0.2.3 install - Cannot login to Mailwatch admin page with any acct if change to use AD/LDAP
Since I hate log files  , I did the 2nd step, Disabled Modsecurity . I then set LDAP to true & both local and AD accounts now work, thank you! :D At which version did that setting get added? This time around, I finally found the setting in config.php that allows you to aggregate all the em...

new 3.0.2.3 install - Cannot login to Mailwatch admin page with any acct if change to use AD/LDAP
I'd been using EFA for a couple of years now successfully upgrading and using Active Directory for authentication in MailWatch to view quarantined emails, release them, etc. Well the last upgrade crashed out to the point I decided to download and install from scratch the latest VMware OVA of eFa to ...

Re: Current EFA 3.0.1.1, Upgrade to 3.0.1.2/3 failing
OK, I know this makes no sense at all. I added a new vNIC to the EFA VM, hadn't even setup a static IP (there is no DHCP on the subnet for the portgroup I chose). I ran: sudo /usr/local/sbin/EFA-Configure Choose option 14) Update Now And it all worked... I am now running 3.0.1.4! Go figure. BTW - th...

Re: Current EFA 3.0.1.1, Upgrade to 3.0.1.2/3 failing
OK, so today I tried the command again. Sorry fro the long output paste, but I wanted you to have all the detail needed to help figure out what's going one. Now, it appears to me that there is an error related to IPv6 which is disabled in our EFA. Do we need IPv6? Thanks, Jeff [root@cleaner ~]# /usr...

Yes, we have an Untangle firewall appliance on the edge between the internet & the EFA appliance.

Current EFA 3.0.1.1, Upgrade to 3.0.1.2/3 failing
I apparently am at 3.0.1.1 as I have had Auto Update enabled. I received an email today from the EFA saying: Update to 3.0.1.2 is pending. Your system has an updated kernel, but you are not running on the latest kernel. Please restart your system and run EFA-Update after restart. I rebooted the syst...

Re: AD authentication fails after upgrade to 3.0.1.0
I actually had done what colin mentioned and changed the code to:
define('USE_LDAP', true);
and my AD integration is working again.
As colin pointed out the detailed thread relating to the solution exists here:

AD authentication fails after upgrade to 3.0.1.0
All, I was wondering if anyone else was having this problem. AD integration & authentication was working great in 3.0.0.8 & 3.0.0.9. After upgrading to 3.0.1.0, no user from AD can authenticate to the MailWatch login page. Mailwatch fails.jpg I've checked all settings, they are still set per...

3.0.0.9 upgraded sa-learn problem
We upgraded on Sunday to 3.0.0.9 with no issues other than the obvious switch to https from http. But now, when users click on the link "Click here to report this message as spam." Example of Hyperlink info: https://cleaner.aesdom.com:1234/cgi-bin/learn-msg.cgi?id=646CF120768.A37AC&tok...

Re: ClamAV update
Yup Windows guy. Anywho, was wondering if you happened to try your rpm package yet? If so is it available to try? In other words do I download clamav-0.99-3.el6.x86_64.rpm from https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/epel/6/x86_64/repoview/clamav.html and execute: sudo rpm -e --nodeps perl-Mail-Cla...

ClamAV update
I received these in an email from our appliance: An update to clamav from 0.98.7-1.el6 to 0.99-3.el6 is needed. However, this update could not be installed! Try the update manually using the Package Updates module. An update to clamav-db from 0.98.7-1.el6 to 0.99-3.el6 is needed. However, this updat...

Re: How to integrate E.F.A with Active Directory (Part 2)
Well I figured out the problem I had with the script bombing out was because I had an email account with an apostrophe in it, once I removed it, all the user accounts populated in the EFA User Management database. My question now is, how do I truly Active Directory integrate the list? All the passwo...

Re: How to integrate E.F.A with Active Directory (Part 2)
I am getting the following message when I try to manually run this job. (sudo /usr/local/bin/mailwatch/tools/Cron_jobs/mailwatch_ldap_sync.sh) ERROR at line 74: Unknown command '\@'. I am not sure what is even wrong.....much less how to fix it. I am getting the same error at but at line 252 which d...
