since the latest round of updates our db's have moved from MYI's to IDB's

the procedure we used to use to repair corrupt tables was :

service MailScanner stop
service mysqld stop
cd /var/lib/mysql/mailscanner
myisamchk --check *.MYI
myisamchk --recover maillog.MYI
service mysqld start
service ...

exact same issue for me as well..

i did an EFA-Update -update today from 3.0.1.8 -> 3.0.2.1
once rebooted i ran the EFA-Update -update again, and it said no updates required.

but on completion got same error as above.. ran the script provided and got :



MailWatch for MailScanner Database ...

Strange things are a-foot.

randomly i am seeing the below where spam is just not being checked at all and is being delivered.

The only tell-tale sign is that Spam Report Score / Matching rule of : Timed Out, but i cannot for the life of me work out where or what is timing out or why?

we do this now.. we simply use FQDN instead of IP address for outbound and then use either DNS round robinning or a load balancer..

really? I tested on our 3.0.0.9 systems and couldnt login..

This only affects people using LDAP Auth though doesnt it ?

Create a new user as a domain administrator. They can log in and see all email destined for their domain and release etc no problems.

Black/White listing is a problem.

Click 'Lists'
mysponsordaily.com
leave email address blank, and because they are domain admin for their domain it doesnt appear ...

So.. is this planned to happen ? has it been done with current release?

Ive added phishing.safe.sites.custom as per the link above.. but i cant find anywhere thats referencing it ?

if it hasnt been done, is there a way to STOP the phishing.safe.sites.conf file from being updated ? maybe ill just ...
