Reboot fixed it. Which is strange for linux. I think it updated and maybe a watcher script could not find the mail scanner PID. what was happening was mailscanner was crashing or being restated every 3-5 seconds.

MailScanner causing high cpu usage
I have a new install using the vmware image. 2cpu cores and 4gb ram. Mailscanner is using 80-100% cpu usage without any mail going through the system. The mail queues are empty. How do I figure out what is happening?

Can a version number be added somewhere to either the SSH menu or somewhere in the admin side of the web GUI?

I finally got around to testing this, and yes, 32 bit works. I copied the kickstart script to a local web server and modified it to use the 32 bit repo. After that everything worked as expected. I really don't know how well it handles load though. I only get a dozen or so spam emails a day, so I don ...

I have an old hp dl380 g3 sitting around with 6gb of ram in it. I might try it this weekend and see what happens. I am not sure I would be able to toss enough traffic at it to create a valid test though. Sounds like a fun drinking project.

32 bit support
Will EFA run on a 32 bit CPU? Looking at the net install script, it points to x86_64 for the install source, but after that I don't see any specific refrences to packages that would be 64 bit only.
