Re: Inline signatures.

The last bit, I'm having trouble with: I think I remember reading that eFa wants to integrate with SELinux and there is one part that doesn't work with SELinux on. Maybe someone can help me. But I need the CustomActions.pm file to access the eFa password file to store the tokens. Works just fine wit...

Re: Outgoing mail: Smart host with SMTP AUTH LOGIN not working

ONe thing i have forgotten in the past, that maybe helpful,

[mail.isp.example]:587 username:password

the syntax for the sasl_passwd file is different if you use port 587.
Have you tried this already?

Re: hardware requirements

At 10-20k messages a day, I run 8 cores 16G of ram and 200G of disk space.
Load average is around 1.

I think I could probably double that and still be fine.

I would highly recommend SSD storage for the db though.

Do you mean 100k delivered clean messages? Or 100k new mails regardless of status?

Re: Inline signatures.

As far as I can tell, the quarantine_release() function releases the email to all of the original recipients as well. So it doesn't seem that it is better than the cgi stuff from that perspective. FYI I was successful in altering the auto_release.php, CustomActions.pm, and recipient.spam.report.txt ...

Re: Inline signatures.

Would you allow a page to be created that required a messageID and recipient email verification process that would release the quarantined mail without a login requirement? For example, the message could stay the same about 'so and so tried to send you an email and it is not going to be delivered, e...

Re: Inline signatures.

Was the release mail side effect that sendmail -t?
Would it be possible to alter the token system to allow for the recipient only to release to him/herself?

So essentially all of my email users have to get familiar with mailwatch and have an account on mailwatch to report as spam now?

Inline signatures.

Is version 4 going to be built without 'release mail' link and 'report as spam' signature'?
Or is this still in development?

I noticed the release-msg and lean-msg scripts were gone.

Are you getting this entry in the filter's maillog or the mail server's maillog?

Re: Spammer Alert

It appears that the Domains table served a function and was populated at one point. Upon looking at the EFA-configure scripts, it looks like the transport section writes directly to the postfix config files. So if you don't have a Domains table or have an out of date one like me, you can repopulate ...

Re: Database issue not assigning token.

Ok, So I had some more time to look at this Mon and Tues. I realized that this section was never completing. Ever. dbquery( 'DELETE i.*, m.* FROM mtalog AS m LEFT OUTER JOIN mtalog_ids AS i ON i.smtp_id = m.msg_id WHERE m.timestamp < (NOW() - INTERVAL ' . RECORD_DAYS_TO_KEEP . ' DAY)' ); A line towa...

Re: Database issue not assigning token.

I know for a fact I ran all of that stuff. I'd put money on it actually. But I just checked the server.cnf and it is nonexistent in there. So it makes me wonder, did I actually suffer from a major vmware issue (unrelated to EFA specifically) that we had last week and revert to a snapshot or somethin...

Hello All, Sorry for the frustration. This is no longer just happening on Monday. Sometimes happens once every two weeks. Sometimes twice a week etc. Different days. Re: Database issue not assigning token.

I am actually just using the appliance for VMware that I downloaded a few years ago. (Which is CentOS)
Is it easy enough to redeploy? Or migrate? I have 40+ domains. And obviously lot's of historic information.
I can look to see if those processes are running next time.

Re: Database issue not assigning token.

This is all that the /etc/my.cnf file has in it:

#
# This group is read both both by the client and the server
# use it for options that affect everything
#
[client-server]

#
# include all files from the config directory
#
!includedir /etc/my.cnf.d
