New method of spoofing?
My VP of Sales has been getting a bunch of emails that look pretty convincingly like they're coming from his account. It's a poorly-spelled bitcoin extortion attempt. Info from quarantine on EFA, which seems like a message sent to himself: Message Headers: Received: from relay1.live.com (unknown [10...

Re: Remote users unable to access MailScanner web page
Hen,
Thank you very much for the response, and the link discussing disabling TSL. I will look into both immediately.

Re: Remote users unable to access MailScanner web page
Anybody?.... Does anybody have their system available for remote release of messages, or is everybody doing it locally? Can anybody at least tell me if there is some port besides 80 used for this?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Notification at the top of each email
The way I handled this with my in-house Exchange server was with a server-side rule. There were only a few employees being spoofed (one of which was the CEO) so the rule says if the email comes from outside the organization with the FROM header having certain values (names of employees) then delete ...

Remote users unable to access MailScanner web page
When logged on to the AD domain on location or by VPN, users can click the link at the bottom of quarantine notifications to release them. But remote users cannot. I've opened up port 80 on the firewall, and have rules to NAT ports 25 and 80 to the internal address. I've checked the firewall on the ...

my default gateway is causing a 4.7.1 rejection on all inbound
I'm trying to set up version 3.0.2.6, using my old system as a template (EFA, but years old and not updated). I changed the NAT on my firewall to direct incoming mail to the new EFA device and I'm getting the following error on ALL incoming emails: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from unknown[10.5.4.244]: 450...
