Quarantining Whitelist Mail
All mail passing through the filter on test (originating from using MUTT via the console to send externally) is being delivered ok but showing in the quarantine.
Status being shown is WL.
Is this anything to do with WL rules not being correctly applied here: http://baruwa-users-list.963389.n3 ...

Error at boot when signatures enabled
Added HTML and text signature. No signatures being applied to mail. This error reported at boot:

Re: Postfix as gateway relaying to smarthost
Probably leave it as it is - if anyone needs the appliance to handle DNS itself then that's something they can do. I just did a belt and braces on a ZImbra to Exchange Gateway so that the zimbra box was never querying the Windows DNS server when relaying mail to exchange - Windows seems to have a ...

Re: Postfix as gateway relaying to smarthost
OK - glad it wasn't a dumb suggestion - the other one is DNS related - right now, we need to forward to a DNS server - but you could argue that if running EFA in a gateway capacity, wouldn't it want to provide it's own DNS resolution? I'm thinking of how ZImbra works in particular.

Postfix as gateway relaying to smarthost
Hi
Looking through your build script, you assume that the machine is going to be an Internet mailhost, but surely a great many of these appliances would be on an internal network relaying through a smarthost - which is the option I'd select when installing Postfix. Just a thought. Could you not ask ...

Monitoring Postfix hold queue
Test VM build here. No major config additions as yet. Send mail from terminal to an address. Mail goes into postfix hold. Can see it in /var/spool/postfix/hold/ Doesn't show in Baruwa queue management. Limitation of Baruwa?

Re: Unable to parse the OVF file
Thanks man!
Linux knowledge no problemo but mailscanner is new (to me). I shall read up some more. Ideally, we'd have a web frontended mail scanning appliance that generally doesn't need any messing around with the console as my time there is limited so it would be day-to-day administrated by ...

Re: Unable to parse the OVF file
Do you think 0.2 is good enough for a production environment? BTW, did the steps in the looping post make sense?

Thanks man! I'll let him know about converting. Do you have a roadmap for 0.3?

Unable to parse the OVF file
Just tried to get our sysadmin to import the OVF into Vsphere 4.1. The error Unable to parse the OVF file occurs and it won't import.

Re: Looping mail going into quarrantine
Hi.
Well, the test system suffered a couple of flaws. I have a zimbra box acting as a mail gateway from an external MTA. This then routes all mail for @mydomain.com to an exchange box. The exchange sends all outbound mail through zimbra. My goal is to replace the zimbra box with EFA.
The test ...

Looping mail going into quarrantine
Hi.
Not sure if this is a bug but set up EFA yesterday - other than the initial install configuration, I only configured a test system via the Baruwa interface. I found email being delivered to an SMTP host on the network but all delivered mail was also had a copy in quarantine. So there were loads ...
