Which distro should we focus on for eFa?

in the light of redhats announcement to close the source . Wouldn`t it make sense now to focus on Debian or Ubuntu LTS ?

based on the current decision of Redhat to lock down their repositories i voted for Debian.
CentOS is and was not bad. But with this mindset you can no longer trust redhat. Or should we say IBM ?

Ubuntu might have the same attitude next week and CentOS Stream is like gambling .

So natural choice is Debian. One the other side why isnt devuan on the list ?
