Re: How to prevent EFA to change the "mail from" address when deliver quarantined messages

Thanks for the confirmation.
Turns out I missed the existing entry in the file and created a new one.
Corrected that and it's working as desired.

Re: How to prevent EFA to change the "mail from" address when deliver quarantined messages

Hi all. Does this still apply to MailWatch for MailScanner v1.2.23 running on eFa-5.0.0-11?
I tried it and it didn't change for me unless I missed something. I did restart MailScanner and httpd.

Thanks.

Migration v4 to v5 worked perfectly!

Hi all. I've been using MailScanner for a long time, and EFA since at least v3.
I used to run it personally and for a couple of small businesses, now it's just my own simple personal setup.
I went to do the v4 to v5 update and made backups/snapshots just in case. Built a new Alma 9 VM and followed ...

Well, crap. Red Hat screws us over again.

Just upgraded to EFA4 - nice job folks!

Hi all. Long time MailScanner and for the last few years EFA user.
I had a minor issue the other day where EFA3 stalled with a Clamav issue.
Resolved it, but thought, hmmm good time to upgrade.
I have a very simple small home setup, so decided to install it from scratch on a new VM, test, then cut ...

Had the same thing happen today. Untangle was blocking it.

Hi from Canada

Hi all. Long time MailScanner user here. Can't remember how long I've been using Mailscanner, so I looked at the oldest email on my notebook, a message from 2003, had MailScanner headers, so at least 12 years, probably more. Had traditionally used MailScanner on a multi-purpose Linux box (firewall ...

Re: clamd crashing

Update 2, spoke too soon, had a few more crashes. Some protection faults, and some failures during self-check reload db failed: Malformed database
Did my RAID upgrade last night, Adaptec 6805 and my disk performance is significantly better. So maybe that was the issue, has been fine for 24 hours now ...

Re: clamd crashing

Update. Put more physical RAM in the Hyper-V server and bumped up the VM RAM to 6GB.
Also dropped the VCPus down to 2 (4 was overkill for my tiny workload) and now it seems stable.

clamd crashing

Hi all. I have read a number of threads on clamd crashing, and I think my problem may be different.

I have been running EFA for about 3 months and it's been pretty good. Recently clamd started crashing. /var was a bit full, so I increased it, also increased RAM to 4GB and reduced MailScanner ...
