Hey guys, just wanted to touch base for any info with the issue we're having. Certain clients have seen an increase in spam being received since migrating to Hyper-V/3.0.1.8. The spam they are receiving is obvious spam too - Viagra spam, etc. Thanks in advance!

Hey Shawn, thanks for following up. I'm the one that emailed you by the way. But no it doesn't appear to be sending very many spam not delivered emails at all. some low scoring spam it will shoot one off but doesn't seem to do high scoring spam at all. Should it?

Darky - we did do your migration steps which should've migrated our greylist DB right? We've been running EFA for years now ever since we came across it looking for an ESVA alternative maybe 3 years ago.

The spam rate or score doesn't seem to have changed...just the functionality there.

Hey guys, just migrated to a Hyper-V instance from VMware and our greylisting seems to be taking much longer for legitimate mail than it used to. Have seen it be from 45 mins - 2 hours even. Any thoughts or suggestions? Thanks in advance!

We just migrated from 3.0.0.8 VMware appliance to 3.0.1.5 Hyper-V. We have multiple domains that we filter for and one of the domains is complaining about NOT receiving the spam not delivered messages as much as they did before...go figure. I guess in their mind something is not working properly ...

Hey Darky, thanks for the info, all seemed to work well backed up and restored to /var, however checking some things with new appliance and under webmin it shows spamassassin as an unused module, is that normal?

Hey guys, we're looking to migrate our vmware EFA config over to a Hyper-V instance without migrating the whole VM. Is there an easy way to get all of our config, whitelists, blacklists, transport rules, etc migrated over? Thanks in advance!

That would be wonderful Shawn. We need to add around 160 users and would be nice if we could do a csv or something of the sort to import instead of having to manually create each one. How long would something like that take?

Is there a way to import new users in EFA from like a CSV file instead of having to manually create 100+ new users?

when i manually run the job it goes through each user one by one saying creating report then e-mailing but the report never arrives...

I wasn't able to run the cron.daily jobs but it didn't crash last night after having given the VM more resources. I bumped it up from 2gb to 4gb RAM and all was well this morning. I will watch it for a couple days and see how it goes. But on this same box our daily reports are not sending. localhost ...

Yeah whitelist is present. Most pressing issue is whatever happens at 4am causing spamassassin to crash then our inbound queue backs up and loops on the same emails showing # processed in the tens of thousands. Any ideas?
