Re: Slow web GUI

Thanks for all the help and suggestions.

I resolved this issue - the issue turned out to be my web browser (Firefox) and DNS over HTTP settings.
I run my own internal caching DNS server and the internal domain name of the EFA server resolves to a different IP internally vs externally. Once I ...

Re: Slow web GUI

Appreciate your responses - I had searched prior to posting and not found any other instances that appeared relevant.
I am also pretty familiar with Linux.

Here is some additional info:
This is a virtual machine running Rocky Linux 8.9 on a Proxmox (8.1.3) server.

I have/had checked all logs under ...

Re: Slow web GUI

Thanks for that suggestion but I suspect the issue still lies elsewhere.

The retention period was set to 60 days. I have moved it down to 15, with no noticeable change to loading times. I'll give it a day or so to see if this needs to work it's way through.

Slow web GUI

Hi,

I have an EFA 4.0.4 server running for about 2 years now however the web interface is getting slower and slower to respond. This includes both the Mailwatch login as well as clicking on any message via the web interface and Recent Messages. Talking about 20+ seconds before anything changes and ...

Re: EFA 4 errors out on setup

I am using Proxmox (https://www.proxmox.com/en/) which is basically a virtualization frontend with lxc containers, so I suppose, then yes, this is a container (but not in the same sense as docker). I an using the standard CentOS minimal template which comes with Proxmox - centos-8-default_20191016 ...

Re: EFA 4 errors out on setup

I have no idea why hostname was not installed in the minimal installation

2020-11-01 12_04_47-root@_~.png

I have tried searching for some rationale or even to confirm that hostname is not included in the default install, but haven't had much success (difficult search terms don't help).

Thanks ...

EFA 4 errors out on setup

Hi,

I installed a new minimal CentOS 8 machine (virtualized - proxmox) and installed EFA 4 on it. On first login, it asks whether I want to run the setup, which I do.

After answering all the questions and confirming my answers, it errors out when setting the machine hostname with the following ...

Rejecting Invalid Users

Hi,

Just started using EFA recently and all appears to be working well. I am planning on using this to replace an old, manually created mail filter.
The mail filter acts as a frontend to my postfix/imap server and one of the features I have is to reject invalid users. This is a setting in /etc ...
