I do have the domain whitelisted however this one is a double extension so marked as bad content. The sender has asked if there is any way of notifying them if this happens

Is it possible to set the system to send an email to our internal users to let them know an email they are sending out has been blocked?

Or create a quarantine report to show outgoing as well as incoming?

One of our suppliers insist on using password protected zip files, can the system be set to allow them to and from this source only?

I am aware this can be done on our whole spam filter.

I have noticed this,

I am having to run both the reports php and the maint one to clean up the var directory and truncate my quarantine logs.

Is there a fix for this yet?

Our quarantine reports havent been sending for the last 10 days or so, nothing has been changed on the config of the EFA filter. Where should I start to look to fix this? If I run the command manually the reports are sent successfully. sudo /usr/local/bin/mailwatch/tools/Cron_jobs/quarantine_report....

Would this allow everything out?

If so then this is something the security bods will need to ponder over but I see this as a possible fix.

Is it possible to get an email sent back to users when an email they send out is blocked for any reason i.e bad content / spam etc?

We have a number of files that we need to send out to customers that are being blocked on EFA that we believe previously went through on ESVA. is there an allowed list to add file extensions to so that these get marked as clean?

We have the system setup to successfully scan zip files but we have had a number of viruses come through in rar files. These are executables so assume they are viruses or malicious.

Can the system be setup to scan rar files too? or block exes in rars?

I'm struggling to get the mailscanner over to you as its too large - what extensions can be sent as an attachment to the PM?

I've done that and now the quarantine report is now working but it is showing all emails received rather than those that have been marked as spam! A bit more digging and it appears in the php is marks anything not catagorized as UNKNOWN (i.e anything that has been delivered already to the user). Is ...
